Creative Arts Summer Time (C.A.S.T.)

For Kids ages 8-13 years old
 Registration Deadline: Online and office registration ends
Wednesday, July 20, 3:00 pm or until filled. 
No refunds will be given after June 1, 2011.

Walk-in registration begins Monday, July 25 at 5:30 pm, subject to space availability.
Please bring a completed registration form for each walk-in registration.  Forms are available at the church office and online at www.cccmilpitas.org.

Note: Check or Cash only for Office Registrations and Walk-in Registrations on July 25.

 

Please indicate on your registration form your 1st, 2nd, & 3rd activity choice.  You will receive a postcard confirming your registration and the activity your child will be participating. 

The following activities will be offered: 

1)- Music

Student will receive Musical Theory and instrument instruction.

Bass - Students will learn how to tune and play basic bass lines.

Drums - Students will learn how to tune and play basic bass lines.

Guitar - Students will learn how to tune and play basic chords.

Keyboard - Students will learn basic chord structure in order to play contemporary worship songs.

Voice - Students will learn proper breathing, posture, and vocal techniques.

Woodwinds - Students will be given instruction in Flute, Clarinet, and Sax. 
2)- Movement
Dance - Students will learn basic theater dance moves. 
3)- Theater
Drama – Students will be taught acting techniques and exercises in order to perform monologues and scripts for closing program. 
4) Sewing-
Sewing – Students will learn basic sewing skills, how to read a pattern and complete a fun project. 
5) Art
Drawing/Painting – Students will be taught drawing, sketching and painting using different mediums.

Scrapbooking - Students will learn to organize and assemble pages of family memorabilia.  Emphasis will be given in preserving pictures and page layout design.
 
6) Multi-media
Photography – Students will learn basic techniques in photography and photo editing. They 
will be our photographers for the week of C.A.S.T.
